Structure of the Executive MBA

The Cranfield Executive MBA is spread over two years, but it is the start of a relationship that extends beyond Cranfield throughout your career. The programme was launched in 1981 to enable organisations to sponsor their talented and ambitious managers to study for the MBA while continuing to work. There are now two study options:

Part-time: attendance at Cranfield on fourteen residential weekends (all day Friday and Saturday) and three and a half week residential periods each year, spread throughout the year.

Modular: six eight-day modules each year.

Both options start in January each year, with the two cohorts studying together at Cranfield whenever possible. This arrangement exposes the part-time students to a more international peer group, and allows the smaller modular cohort to benefit from the input of a larger group of students during the interactive lectures.

The Cranfield Experience starts with an Orientation Weekend, which is followed by a comprehensive set of core modules. Unique to Cranfield is the Personal and Professional Development spine that combines organisational processes and communication with team building and career planning throughout the programme.

In Year Two of the programme you choose how to apply your knowledge to real situations through the medium of integrated themes which are based around critical management disciplines such as innovation, change management and globalisation.
